一、培養目標 本專業旨在培養符合國家經濟建設和社會發展需要，在德、智、體、美方面全面發展，具有扎實的 德語語言基本功、良好的綜合素質、適應時代發展的合理知識結構的高素質應用型人才，同時也具有國 際化視野和跨文化的交流、競爭與合作能力，期待畢業生五年左右達到以下目標： 1、具有良好的修養與道德水準； 2、具備扎實的德語語言基礎和廣博的文化知識； 3、能在科技、經貿、教育、文化、旅游等部門從事相關工作; 4、能夠通過終身學習拓展自己的知識和能力； 5、有意愿創新實踐，并有能力服務社會。 I.Educational Objectives This program is designed to prepare students as competent, application-oriented majors who are accommodated to the economic development of the socialist market; balanced in their development of morality, intelligence and physical fitness; comprehensively competent in overall quality, equipped with proficient German language performance and a reasonable knowledge structure that adapts to the development of the times. Talents also have an international vision and cross-cultural communication, competition and cooperation capabilities. In about 5 years, they are expected to reach the following goals:  1. Having good manner and excellent moralities; 2. equipped with sound knowledge of the German language and broad understanding of other disciplines; 3. qualified for positions in such fields as science, technology, trading, education, cultural communication, tourism, etc. 4. An ability to develop ones’ own knowledge and abilities through lifelong learning; 5. Cultural literacy: Possess sufficient knowledge of humanities, science and technology; 2. Knowledge of Specialized Discipline: Master basic knowledge and practical skills in the listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating of the German language; 3. Social vision: Be familiar with current social and cultural backgrounds of China and German-Speaking countries; 4. The Ability to Acquire Knowledge: Capable of searching for and analyzing academic documents, and be familiar with latest scientific researches in both the field of German and other related disciplines; 5. Practical skills: Capable of solving practical problems and conducting researches in the field of German language and literature; 6. Graduates are expected to meet the following academic goals five years after graduation: 1. A full understanding of national conditions including state policies, regulations, etc. and an international vision; 2. A solid foundation in English with good skills in English listening, speaking, reading, writing and outstanding abilities of translating and interpreting between Chinese and English; 3. Extensive knowledge of Chinese and western cultures and familiarity with a specific subject field; 4. Remarkable abilities of understanding and writing in Chinese; 5. Detailed knowledge of the latest developments in the profession of translation and interpreting and ability in literature search and translation research; 6. Good abilities of self-expression, interpersonal communication and organizational management plus teamwork spirit; 7. Awareness of the importance of lifelong learning and ability of learning constantly so as to adapt to

rapidly-changing society. 二、畢業要求 1、理論知識：具有豐富的英語語言知識，擁有語言學、翻譯理論及相關的科技專業知識； 2、文化素養：了解我國國情，熟悉英語國家的政治、經濟、社會和文化，具備相當的人文素養； 3、專業知識和能力：英語聽、說、讀、寫能力俱佳，口、筆譯能力突出，漢語理解和表達能力較 強，對于翻譯專業有深入的了解，能夠進行文獻檢索和資料查詢，具備初步的專業研究能力； 4、實踐技能：具備一定的計算機操作技能，能夠熟練使用計算機輔助翻譯軟件開展筆譯工作，熟悉 同聲傳譯設備，口、筆譯經驗較為豐富； 5、職業素養和責任意識：能夠在翻譯實踐中理解并遵守翻譯工作者職業道德和規范，具有較強的保 密意識，能夠為客戶嚴守秘密； 6、團隊合作和項目管理：能夠在翻譯團隊中承擔個體、團隊成員以及負責人的角色，能夠獨自承擔 翻譯項目管理工作； 7、人際交流：能夠就涉及的翻譯任務與委托人、原作者、潛在讀者或聽眾、業界同行及社會公眾進 行有效溝通和交流，能夠承擔跨文化交流使者的角色，具有一定的第二外語能力； 8、終身學習：具有自主學習和終身學習的意識，有不斷學習和適應發展的能力。 II.Graduation Requirements Upon graduation, students should have: 1. Theoretical knowledge: detailed knowledge of the English language, linguistics, translation and interpreting, and relevant scientific and technological field(s); 2. Cultural literacy: a full understanding of national conditions in China and politics, economy, society and culture in English speaking countries plus comprehensive knowledge of the humanities; 3. Knowledge and skills for the profession of translation and interpreting: good skills in English listening, speaking, reading and writing, outstanding abilities of translating and interpreting between Chinese and English, remarkable abilities of understanding and writing in Chinese, profound knowledge of the profession of translation and interpreting, and abilities in literature search and translation research; 4. Practical skills: necessary skills in computer operation, ability of using computer-assisted translation software to facilitate written translation, knowledge and skills of using simultaneous interpretation equipment, and rich experience of translation and interpreting; 5. Professional qualities and a strong sense of responsibility: an understanding of and readiness to observe professional norms and ethical rules in translation practice, a sense of confidentiality and willingness to protecting confidential information for clients; 6. Teamwork spirit and ability of project management: ability of working in a group either as an ordinary member or as the group leader, and that of managing a project; 7. Skills for interpersonal communication: ability of effectively communicating with clients, authors of the original texts, potential readers or audience, peer translators or interpreters, and the public regarding the work to be translated, and that of functioning as a bridge between different cultures, adequate knowledge and skills of the second foreign language; 8. Ability and habit of lifelong learning: acute awareness of the importance of lifelong learning and remarkable ability of learning constantly so as to adapt to the rapidly-changing profession and society.

The Ability to Apply Knowledge: master strong ability to use English proficiently, the ability to appreciate English, and cross-cultural communication ability; have the ability to obtain and update related professional knowledge of business English and English education, and the professional ability to be engaged in education, foreign trade, translation, academic research and other related works. 3. Skills in Using Computer and Information Technologies: proficient in the use of modern technological tools, good at finding the right information to participate in scientific research and practical works. 4. Occupation Quality: with broad humanistic and scientific knowledge and strong sense of social responsibility; be familiar with rules for international trade and professional standards for teachers and translators; have the ability for career-planning. 5. Team-work Spirit: respect colleagues; show strong sense of professional responsibility; have team-work spirit and organizing and managing ability. 6.
